COVID 19 OFFICE UPDATE

Our office remains open to serve our patients during this pandemic. We are continuing to provide the critical service of preventative care and wellness visits, including vaccinations. We are also continuing to see children for sick visits because, unfortunately, there are still other illnesses and conditions to worry about besides Covid-19 infections. We are continuting to modify office protocols to keep current with Covid 19 evolution, so we can provide this care to our patients safely. We have already instituted many changes to protect our patients, and will continue to do so. These recent changes include strict office cleaning and sanitizing protocols, all office masking for patients over 2 years old, their parents and our staff, limiting the number of people at a visit, no waiting in the waiting room, and blocking of our well visits in the morning and our sick patients in the afternoon. We also offer telehealth visits for many concerns that don't require a detailed physical exam, so you can get the care your child needs without coming into our office. Still have questions? Please call our office to discuss, or follow us on Facebook for timely updates.

REACH OUT AND READ

One more book for your little ones library. Reach out and Read is starting at the 4 month visit! Our office is a Reach Out and Read program site. Reach Out and Read is a national nonprofit organization that partners with medical practices to promote literacy and encourage reading aloud with children and their families. At each of your child's well visits starting at 4 months old and until the 5 year well check, our doctors will give your child a book to take home. That is 11 books for your child's home library if they visit us for each of their AAP recommended well check ups! We look forward to partnering with you in this program!

BOOK EXCHANGE

We have a reading corner at the office with books for ages 6 years old to adult. The shelves will feature used and new books that our patients and their parents are welcome to take home, read, and enjoy! We encourage you to take one and leave one in exchange if you can, but you can always leave one the next time you are at the office. We do ask parents to help their younger children choose a book. We will gladly accept donations for the library of either used or new books. Share the love of reading with your children, and read together everyday!

INFLUENZA VACCINES

Mark your calendars to come in every year by November 1st to receive your yearly seasonal flu vaccine. Did you know that we offer influenza vaccines without an appointment every day during the season? We also are happy to provide any parent or guardian with private insurance their flu vaccine also.  Call us with questions!
